The AHFP team, brings together an internationally unrivalled team with a proven record of success, who bring the capacity, capability, and resources to deliver the project. Our team already has an established record of collaboration, with numerous high impact achievements. We are committed to developing innovative medical devices that will improve and save lives.
To deliver the aims of the AHFP, we combine the talents of: i) clinicians with internationally acknowledged skills in the care of the most complex patients with advanced heart failure, mechanical circulatory support devices and heart transplants (Kaye, McGiffin, Haywood, Fraser); ii) engineers and clinicians with a proven record of the successful translation of research findings through intellectual property generation to commercialization and clinical implementation (Timms, Gregory, Dasse, Lovell, Dargusch, Kaye); iii) engineers and clinicians who have successfully led, and assisted, companies through the process of medical device commercialization, including vital oversight of supporting regulatory, governance, legal and fundraising activities (Vassiliades, Timms, Dasse, Dargusch, Kaye, Gregory, Wrigley, Fraser, Stephens, Simmonds).
